Dr. Yele Aluko is the Chairman of the board of the KCOBA-NA. He was also the first president of KCOBA-NA. He attended Kings College from 1966 to 1972 and was in Hyde Johnsons House. He is Senior Vice President of Novant Health Heart and Vascular Services where he is responsible for enterprise wide cardiovascular strategy, program growth and development within all heart and vascular facilities across the Novant landscape in NC and VA. He is also Medical Director at Novant Health Heart and Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC. He obtained his MBBS degree from the University of Ibadan. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City. He completed further fellowships in invasive cardiology at Cornell University Medical Center in New York City, and interventional cardiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and holds an MBA from the Wake Forest University Schools of Business, Winston-Salem NC. He lives in Charlotte NC, and is married with one daughter.
